I bought one and liked it so much that I ordered another a week later. Both identical models but, one scope is marked as minimum focus at 25 yards, while the second scope I purchased is marked to 20 yards. The scope is great, and I'm not complaining; just curious.

I believe that the new Arken scopes focus to 20 yards. It would appear that the dial on my 2nd scope is from the new version.
All of my Arken scopes, especially my EP5 will focus down to a lot less than the 25 yards, or even your marked 20 yards. My EP5 will focus tightly down to 17 yards, and is still usable at 15 yards. The number is honestly just for reference only.
That makes no sense at all. The specs say the minimum focus is 25 yards. The first scope I bought is marked 25, while the other "same model" scope is marked 20.
Just a reference mark as everyone’s eyes are different
That's interesting. I checked all of mine, and they are all marked 25 yards, except my EP4 which has an incline marking with no numbers. Have you optically checked it out to see if there is any difference in performance? As a side note, all of my scopes are in MIL.
