Dose painting your scope void warranty
I purchased the 6x24x50 sh-4 gen II scope. The illuminated portion does not light. Any suggestions?

my rifle is sooo ornery…
not sure if anyone else ran into this problem, but my SH-4 6-24 MIL broke after just 40 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor. the tube that the eyepiece is attached to is rotation freely. ive emailed arken about this so lets see their response.

So much for the cold bore challenge. The AO “focus” will focus at 100yds and closer. The glass is super clear though. I can see the USAF 1951 test target very well as long as it’s within 100 yards…
I’ll be contacting Josh via email tonight. I’m certain they’ll make it right.
I just wanted to drop a note here that I finally did get connected with Arken. Turns out the email address I was using may have been an old one I got from one of their websites.
When I texted them, Josh was responsive. I hope to have my replacement scope later this week or early next week.
