Is the yellow wallet rewards points that keeps popping up legitimate or a scam? Ever since I made a purchase I can't seem to get it off my screen.

The Rewards Points are exactly that, rewards. Not a scam. You can use those points to go toward future purchases. You can't combine points with a discount code though, so just be aware of that part.
