Thanks man. I ordered an optic leveler off Amazon for $9 that claimed they could work with very low heights. I rolled the dice and ordered it. It paid off. Basically, it's a copy of the Arisaka Optic Leveler but the base part is much thinner which allowed me to level the scope in this manner. Thanks for the input!

Hi guys. Thanks for the recommendations. I'm going to blue loctite the rigid mount and purple loctite the rings - scope going on a .308 LR308 with an 18" barrel so want it secure. I might try the vibra tight at some point but, for now, just gonna use what I already have. From what I've seen there are 1001+ ways to do this. Now, all I need is the FREAKIN' scope!!!!!!!!!!!! lol....6 weeks and counting. Ugh!
