Yeah I wish I could jus forget about it and wait on it to show up but I jus ain’t got it in me lol but I have to wait bc I wanna at least have had given arken a chance

Wish there were somewhere where I lived that would have more mid to upper tier optics to look through and compare so I could check out an Ep5 and a couple athlons side by side to make sure I get whatever scope I like the most but there’s nowhere near me that I know of so it’s jus anxious waiting for me Unfortunately but I still think the Ep5 is the way to go that or maybe a midas tac hd 6-24

@dkrat243 that’s incredibly impressive indeed! They’re catching the market off guard jus wish it were a little faster haha I’m probably only halfway through my 4 week lead time which sucks major d but it’ll be worth it in the end

@Patriotpaul haha I watched the same videos I’ve watched 100 arken videos probably jus to make myself wait more anxiously but I’ll get over it I’m waiting regardless bc it’s gonna be the best scope I can afford after another YouTuber said the glass is better than the helos that was my only back up outside of looking for used

@Patriotpaul not even close to what I need unfortunately but thanks anyways. There’s nothing in the same price range that’s gonna beat out the arken for me it’s gonna have to be on a much better deal of a very similar scope

@Patriotpaul oh trust me I’ve watched every single arken involved video I can find probably over a hundred videos I’ve watched, them having a great track record is bared out in all those videos u don’t see hardly any bad reviews the only actual bad thing I’ve heard is that there were a few ep4s where the parallax moved the reticle but that was years ago other than that the worst you hear is that with the sh4 gen2 the glass is milky at high magnification on the 6-24 , there’s many videos with view thru footage watch panther hollows videos he shows the glass compared side by side with the ep4 element titan athlon ares etr and I think a tract and u can see the color washing/chromatic aberration around the edges and slight haziness but that’s at 24x lookin at a very finely detailed target and even then it’s still clearer than anything sub $500 so I can’t wait to see the Ep5 for myself bc I know the wait is worth it but my mind will not let it go until it’s in hand, sick of lookin for more n more info but we’ll see bc I’m gonna make myself waitt no matter what even if that’s jus to turn around and sell the thing at the least I’ll have used it and determined I want something better and need to start lookin at more expensive scopes. damn I’ve only been waitin 11-12days I still have 2-3wks to go i would t be surprised if I have already bought another scope before I get the Ep5 and then either find a way to keep both or sell whichever one I like the least

@Corey Donnell Thomas if this turns out to be what it seems from the initial reviews I’m gonna be selling some stuff to buy at least 2 more of them for my other mainly target guns need one for my 223 ‘trainer’ next and then one for my 6.5 creed But this all depends on me actually waiting to get this scope to ‘catch the arken bug’ in the first place im struggling lol Im gonna jus try and focus on what I want to buy next and fogure out how much money I gotta come up with at this rate I’ll be orderin something else before I receive my arken I jus hope it’s not another scope lol ill Make myself wait regardless bc I know I’ll wish I had later on down the rd when the prices go up and u don’t get the free kit any more and it ends up costing me $200 if I wanna buy one then… heck thinkin about it almost makes me wanna order another one even tho I have zero experience with arken at all

Glad to hear of more positive experiences, can’t wait til this much more experience with the Ep5 to be shared with all us eagerly awaiting our package…. I’m pretty sure they buy the glass from Japan and then use it in their scopes but I could be wrong I have no personal experience to go on but that’s what I’ve been told by several people one of which who sells them but u could always email arken to find out they’re very responsive and seem to be up front about everything besides a few small things so I’m sure they will tell u

@paulwferrell so they’re air shipping from China is that what ur sayin?? thats the thing there still is no delivery timelines unless u count the vague ‘2-4 week lead time’ I’m hopin the deliveries will pick up next week after shots done and then we can get them in the next couple weeks I ordered mine like on the 11th so hopin to get a shipment notice by at least feb 7th since that’s my birthday would be the best present ever lol

@Corey Donnell Thomas agreed he clearly is affiliated with arken either that or he’s workin for free for some reason but w.e I knew I would get someone sayin something like that… he clearly didn’t grasp the part where they jus give u the vague wording when u order 2-4wk lead time in reality that could end up being twice that long it might be 2-4wks before they get them who knows they’re def in no hurry but they’re creating their own headache by creating a huge backload of orders right during shot show when other companies are releasing tons of things and alot of them have at least a fair amount on hand to capitalize on the sales

Well I jus hope I can make myself wait instead of orderin an ep4 in exchange as I’ve been told the glass quality is the same between the two

Thanks for letting me know man… if I can get this other scope I may end up cancelling bc it seems like they shipped a handful out to distributor/dealers to throw out the bait and then worry about getting them out to people in the time they gave which jus leaves is to speculate what the deal is and whether or not they’re actually rolling them out shipping them day by day or are jus waiting on an order to come in on ship so we can only guess

@dschuetz68 wow seriously?! the glass is better in the ep5? man Makin it harder on me I’ve been debating on cancelling my order bc I can’t handle waiting a month and from the look of things I’m gonna be waiting that long or longer if I keep the order so to hear it has glass as good as a scope twice the price is making cancelling that much harder even tho I found a steal on a diff scope…. Decisions decision… would be one thing if arken gave any estimation of when your order will Ship but they jus leave the vague 2-4wk lead and from what I’m hearing there’s people been waiting a month who still haven’t got a shipping notice or anything
