I simply gave up on reporting them as it didn't seem like anything was happening for a while. I have not looked in a while, so if you are cleaning them up, thats awesome. Wish we could have more Mods, I'd do what I could to help. :)

As I understand the paperwork, the optic has 45mm eye relief from the rubber cap that is screwed on. The rubber cap also incorpoprates eye reliefe in it as well. I dont think there will be any issue with this putting it on just about anything. I have had my eye dotted twice in my life due to recoil, but it was always due to it being unexpected. Recoil management will be critical, but dooable. :)

My shipping label was created on Monday, but I ordered the day of release. They have been working hard to get them in, and out he door. Understand that they inspect each one for QA, sonyou get the quality. The day will come.

Calling it the "EP8" they are placing it in a category with the other EP modles which all use the Japanese Glass. Hopefully that is accurate, otherwise there may be some disappointment. As for where its made, it will be made in China most likely, with US QA like the others. I suspect that is the reason for the delays we are seeing.

They sent an email out that all orders up to June 18th should ship by Aug 25th. As I ordered mine on June 1st (release date), and mine is still in a "Awaiting Processing" it is doubtful that they will meet the Aug 25th date. I expect they will send an email tomorrow with updated timelines, or perhaps it will changed to shipped as they expected. But at this point it is still unclear on actual ship dates. I've see these comments and wonder why I have been so lucky. I sent one email, and the thread has been great. Even in the middle of the night I have received responses. Something must have changed, as I have had a great experience with James C responding very quickly and fixing an order issue. FYI, I used info@arkenopticsusa.com
