I have been using mine for about a month. I have three sh4 . Two 6x24, one 4x16 and one ep5 6x25x56 and one epl4. The epl4 6x24x50 when it comes to the clarity of the glass is better than any of the others I have. The image is crisp and clear on 24x even at 10 yards. The sh4s for the price can't be beat. I just got a ep5 and I am disappointed the clarity on mine is not on par with the sh4s. Being that it is the most expensive model I was expecting more. If it was good as the epl4 I would be happy but it isnt.

With the height of your bases being low I would get the medium rings.

The Arken is a wonderful scope for the B 14r. The Arken is a fantastic optic that would work well on any long range setup. I couldn't be happier. Added 55 moa more with the base and ring combo that gets me out to 500 yards plus. I have scopes that are 5 x the price that are no better than the Arken. If you are skeptical don't be. The best 449.00 that I have spent in a long time.
