So I'm thinking of changing my ELP4 6-25 MOA in for athe new SH4J, mainly because of course now it offers the Japanese glass, but also for the extended parallax adjustment and the VPR reticle. So my question(s) are for those who actually have been able to compare the two (mostly the Arken Admin) because I realize the new scope has only been offered for like two weeks. Is the Japanese glass clarity comprable between the two scopes? Also I understanfd that the EP5's parallax accuracy is been the subject of discussion, I wonder if the SH4J has simular charicteristics, as this is one ofd the main reasons for making this change, I'm currently looking forward to reaching out to 5-600 yds with a new(er) build and and the ELP4 adjusts to 200 yds and the to infinty, whereas the newer scope parallax adjustment is 500 (or 1000) yds then infinity. Any comment on these two subjects would be appreciated. Thanks

This article provides detailed and useful information about the differences between the two ELP4 and SH4J scopes, helping readers have a clearer view of important factors when comparing, such as glass quality, parallax adjustment accuracy, among us and reticle characteristics.
You are considering switching to SH4J sounds interesting! I am also quite interested in the clarity of Japanese glasses and their parallax adjustment. Hope to hear more feedback from those who have experienced these two lines! smash karts
I have recevied my J series, and I can say that I am really liking it so far. While it does have the Japanese glass, I don't think it is quite up there with the EP5. The EPL4 scopes that I have are about the same in image quality. The EP5 still wins, but the J is really nice!! I definitely like it better than my EPL4's though. Image is clear, and I am just really partial to the SH4 series turrets. For my purposes, the J serves as well, if not better for my applications. It seems to have more image change adjustability in the parallax as well.
