I almost find it amusing that this could slip past the fine folks at Arken, but their 34mm scope body says a maximum torque of 15 In-Lbs, but only on a 'removable label', whereas their Rigid Precision mount rings are boldly and permanently marked in white paint for a torque value of 18 In-Lbs.
Yes, I "get it" ... that one should not exceed what the torque value that the scope is marked ...but this would apply to the 1st mounting only! As that label is to be REMOVED to properly seat the scope body in their rings, once tossed away, then that info is lost forever ... LOL!

Halo rings say 18in/lbs as well. I'm wondering if it's a typo on the paper sleeve vs. the mounts.
Same story with any other scope and rings right?
