I think it would be an amazing option to have a shorter minimum focus. Of course, the LPVO focuses down to very close distances and I don't expect a 7-30 to quickly focus down to 5 yards at the lowest magnification. However, it is VERY common for hunters or pest elimination ventures to take shots at 150 yards then have a perfect shot opportunity show up at 5 to 10 yards. I suppose I could throw a red dot on the side but I am an air rifle shooter and everything is more delicate. I can throw a .30 pellet at an ethical minute-of-pigeon at 120-ish yards. But when I set up I know how far every thing is from me to 120 yards. I have had to let plenty of shots go at 20 yards because I don't like blurry shots on living things. Would it be lighter and less expensive to add a red dot on my Arken? Or buy a scope that can throw lever over to 3 power and wheel the parallax to clear shots at minimum distance?
