Hello folks! Recently I've ordered a new .308 rifle and wanted to get some advice on which scope to get installed(once it arrives ofc). Any advice is welcome since I'm pretty new to optics in general. Mostly planning to practice with it for now and maybe join a deer season next year(doubt I'll get good enough for current season). Rifle in question is Savage 110 Tactical 308 rifle( https://gritrsports.com/shooting/firearms/rifles/308-winchester-7-62x51-rifles/ got it from somewhat nearby store, didn't have time to ride 2h and pick it up myself sadly).

Any Arken scope will work, just a matter of what features you want. For a frame of reference, 10x will get you out to 1000m.
A tip on the savage, I have the same one. Remount the scope base due to savage does not locktite the screws or base. It will come loose.
Choosing a scope is genuinely a matter of taste. I would choose at least the SH4 6-24 because my ageing eyes need greater magnification. I would unquestionably advise the EP5 5-25 if you plan to shoot at longer ranges more frequently. When looking through the glass all day, the Japanese ED glass makes a difference in preventing eye fatigue.

Scope choice is honestly a matter of personal preference. My old eyes are needing more magnification, so I would opt for at least the SH4 6-24. If you are going to be shooting at the longer distances more often, I would definitely recommend the EP5 5-25! Any of their scopes would work.myself I would probably go for a 4-16 if you’re planning on shooting out to 1000 yards.the ep5 is incredible. And there’s nooth wrong with a 6-24 either.
