I am removing my Arken EP4 5-25-56 scope from my Ruger RPR and putting it on my new Tikka TAC A1. Is it advisable to set the scope back to factory zero before I boresight and zero this new rifle? If so, what are the steps to do so?

When you do a boresight on it , you will adjust it to where it needs to start
Yes, I would do that. You don't actually "have to", but I always do. To reset to factory, just count the clicks of the range of the turret, divide by 2, and adjust back to center. Easy!
