I have been a religious Nightforce (NF) shooter for some time now. I took pride in the equipment because, unlike at work I was using my own funds to acquire the kit. It never let me down and I never had any complaints when it came to NF. However, as life goes on and things tighten up here north of the border, shooting my personal kit seems to be fewer and more far between. Making most of my rifles expensive safe queens. So after some research and some much appreciated youtube reviews/comparisons I've traded one of my NF's for the EP5 (ofcourse it was a bit like christmas with the difference in value, so I secured some new treats aswell). My new EP5 shipped today and I'm looking forward to mounting it and getting some work in. It will be going on a Cadex Freedom Lite in .300 Win Mag. If all the reading and videos are true, this may see some trigger time in summer events. All that to say, if schedules do not permit optimal range time, it'll sting a hell of a lot less knowing its sitting there than the NF. Will report back on results....

No complaints yet! But as a piece of 'FYI' it should be noted if you run a unimount like myself (NightForce Ultralite) you will have to watch for clearance with middle mount screw under Paralax. This required some minor adjustments in mount placement to ensure clearance and proper eye relief but could be avoided altogether with rings (simple enough). She's on and laser bore sighted, next to the range for zeroing. Till then....
Scope arrived yesterday, and although no time to mount and play I was very impressed with the fit/feel out of the box! #beast Handling it really reminds me of some of the higher end scopes, So far so good!
I have sold all my other optics now, and only run the Arken Optics offerings. I have had Nightforce, Kahles, Vortex Razors, and the like. The Arken's will perform for you. And it does make you feel quite a bit better knowing that your funds can go to ammo, or training, or other goodies, and still get the job done!!
When did you order your scope? I ordered one on Monday and looks like it will be a while before it gets here.
I think you'll be pleased with the glass,I've compared my EP5 with sightron and NF,very close comparison with my eyes.the sightron and NF seem to use the exact same glass.
