I'm curious as to where these optics are made and assembled, and where the glass is manufactured.
Also what type of coating (if any) had been applied to the lenses

If there was any way possible to make any optics cheaper state side, I am sure everyone would. It just isn't possible with the high costs associated with everything.
I understand the need and want for cheaper manufacturing. But man such a nice optic, too bad its not a domestic piece.
Arken stuff is manufactured and assembled at the Arken Optics facility in China. The SH4 has Chinese HD glass, while the EP5 has Japanese ED glass. I have no information on the coatings though.
